F2A - PD Dec 2023 - I130 and I485 approved today
hi guys, I recently shared I had my interview in Chicago (Nov 15) and I just got approved! my husband is a green card holder still (dint apply for citizenship) and I used my work permit months later after receiving it (so dropped f1) and visited my country during the process and entered with parole. I believe things are going faster! good luck to everyone and thank you for all the support and insight this community provided!

@C NT How did you get a visa in 2022 if you didn't get a visa? How did you get your turn in 2023?

@nasinka nasinka I came with tourist visa, got two extensions, then applied for international student status. I was international studen (f1 status) when I apply for I130 in 2023 and I kept until I apply for I485 in August of 2024. for this category, you need to have a valid visa/status to apply
