F1 COS H4 EAD
Anyone knows how long H4 standalone I-765 application should wait? (I know there's a webpage for processing time on USCIS website, but I would like to know the real case.)
I had F1 OPT in the past and it took 3 months for the EAD to arrive. Now I'm married and I am under H4 status. It has been 132 days but my case is still pending. No action was taken - still saying received by USCIS. Is it normal, and how much longer should I expect?
Based on being an H-4 spouse of an H-1B nonimmigrant (Standalone, not filed with I-539 H4)

we both are the same, had OPT before then went out of status when OPT expired. did u send your medical ? i submitted mine April 10 2023

@Eugenia ME I don't think we are in the same boat. I mean I had OPT in the past and the EAD for F-1 OPT arrived real fast which was three months. My OPT never expired and I went to another school to achieve my PhD degree. I'm now married so I transferred from F-1 to H4, and I was asking the processing time of EAD for H4, which is not what you were referring to. I'm sorry I can't help with your case.
