Since you're F-1, have you applied for OPT through F-1 status?

@Keep Waiting I have not. I applied in October 2022 hoping that I could get the EAD on time and jump straight into a full time job. So my offer is from a company that doesn’t do OPT.

Tbh just because you have a job offer and financial needs does establish the logic to expedite your case . USCIS website has specific requirements for expediting cases and having a job offer is not one of those.

@Keep Waiting I know that. our lawyer recommended applying through marriage. And like I said, the company doesn’t accept OPT. Therefore there will be no reason for me to apply through OPT

@Ruohan Li don't listen to super negative people. Being on here just a few days you will see people with cases that prove exact opposite. Unfortunately it seems very random from an outside perspective so all we can do is try.

Mean and negative ? it only proves how soft y'all are. im simply laying out facts , you've got more research to do yourself or seek for professional assistance like from a lawyer. USCIS clearly stated on their website the following reasons for expedition: 1) Severe financial loss to a company or person 2) Emergencies and urgent humanitarian reasons 3)Nonprofit organization (as designated by the Internal Revenue Service) whose request is in furtherance of the cultural or social interests of the United States 4)U.S. government interests 5) Clear USCIS error. Having a job offer is simply not one of them. Ive seen people's expedition requests easily got rejected just because this reason is so weak. help me establish the logic that they will expedite your case just because you have a job offer that doesnt accept OPT? thats just not a legit reason to have you cut the line okay .

and plus you are taking the route of family sponsorship , that even lowers your chances further . If you were sponsored by an employer then perhaps you can argue that you have to start working ASAP because you have an underlining petition I-140 from your employer, they might or might not expedite it, your situation stands zero chance of expedition at this point purely based on the description of your situation. you can call emma or reach out to whoever, it simply doesnt help to make a case of it.
