we did the same thing you just did and waited for them to ask for the evidence, they never did. we just received a denial after about 2 months. We did the second time through Emma, the agent asked us to upload the evidence under unsolicited documents and contact them after that to expedite. We uploaded the documents and went through Emma again to make the expedite request. Received a confirmation email that request has been received now it's just to wait . The worrisome part now is that our progress time moved from 2 months to 9 months 😔😔😔😔

@jiya p You can sue USCIS for a delayed case on your own, you will get a decision within 60 days. Do youtube search to learn more about it, and to get assistance with it "Writ of Mandamus Assistance"

I tried to expedite our case with the same way I emailed them contacted and I also wrote a letter to Congrassman too but they unanswered. My baby was born early and he stayed 2 month at the hospital I got college work at that time but I drop everything when I didn’t get the approval form. My baby passed the one more surgery in January I tried but they told me I have to wait. I’m mentally tired they told me that I have to wait normal proccessing time they didn’t took my expidite requests without reason several times I asked reason of why they not move. Now I have to wait June 🤷🏻‍♂️ Will see

How long did it take for your expedite request to be approved?

@Intan P I did that too the hospital wrote a letter for me about baby’s condition and happening roght now also I wrote a letter to council to make interview for tourist visa they said we aren’t eligible for that without telling reason.

Spoke last week with my lawyer about Writ of Mandamus he told me that I have to wait June because the case still in the normal processing time

@Shahlo Tohirova idk if its true or not, but i heard that if the letter of explaination speak about us not the USC, they won't care at all, even if the wife dying. They only care if the US citizen speak about themselves and how desperate they are and whats problem they want to solve through the expedite. So, it should be from your husband point of view.

if you case was approved by USCIS, and still not sent to nvc yet you can contact nvc send them the approval letter and have them request it from uscis. Because NVC is working on April 1,2024 cases that they received April 22 to 24 of 2024.

@gsss wee i cant do that because i didnt got the approval yet. We did mistake about not mentioning which embassy that uscis need to send our document. Thats why we hv form i-824 process right now before NVC. And i hv to wait around 12 months since mine is texas sc. Thats why we want to expedite the i-824 form because it takes so long.
