Expedite request for I 751.
Hello dear Lawfully community,
I ve been applying to remove conditions on residence since 05/06/2019.
whenever I call USCIS to check on my application they say it is still processing.
my dilemma is I have a very health compromised mother that I have to go visit frequently.
Is there anyway I can expedite my application.
and what circumstances do they take into consideration. Am emotionally tired because of this and on the verge of giving up everything.
please whoever is going through the same situation.

filed on January 2019 and still waiting. we should just wait until our turn comes. that is the only option. I tried to expedite my case twice but it’s no use.

@leila, I tried to expedite my case based on humanitarian reason because I haven’t visited my home country from 5 years and also I have not met my family since 5 years. It was of no use. they denied twice.

@gbagba, all 2019 filers are waiting I think. I hope they will process all 2019 filers soon and give some relief.

The slowest office which is Potomac is processing cases from July of 2020 so there’s no reason for your case to be pending since 2019

call uscis and ask them to file an expedite request or contact your local congressman to help ask them for an expedite request

Lmao @J i Expedite requests almost never work on I-751s. They either need to sue or file for citizenship

@Faizan if your marriage is still ongoing and in good health, file N-400 since you will have an interview anyway

I filed august 2019, did interview March 2022 and still no response. checked case status still showing scheduled for interview. called USCIS and was told case is actively processing

Hi guys, I also submitted my I751 on 5/19 and done with my interview last year 4/22. Since October/22 it’s says “ case was updated to show fingerprints were taken”
Does anyone got same update? Also is it worthy to file expedite?

No I am not married and interview went very well. I also provide them all the evidence which proves that marriage was in good faith.

Ok two things, you can either file N-400 when you pass 5 years of residency or you sue them. They are just sitting on your case

They tend to leave divorce cases to collect dust on the shelf until the petitioner acts. File N-400 or Sue
