expedite request for EAD
my lawyer put in a expedite request for my EAD uploaded evidence ( letter from
my employer saying if I don’t get my SS card / employment authorization I will be fired ) this was on November 30th and we still haven’t heard back about our request, now I get biometrics appointment scheduled day after we put in a claim. I already had biometrics done 2 years ago ( my I-485 has been processing since August 2021 biometrics expires I guess ) that’s why I hire a lawyer to help me get EAD while she helps me fix problem with my I-485. do you think EAD should get approved once I get biometrics done again?

No news for a month or so means bad news. Ead expedition has conditions. Chck uscis website, you need to have a financial loss or emergency, or job offer rom health care or non profit. You can expedite many times as you want maybe wait 3weeks between each expedite request. You dont need your lawyer for that do it on your own there is a uscis website to show you how. Search here EAD expedite and sersch om youtube plenty kf ressources about that. Good luck, I did expedite 3 times unt got approved, I was approved usng my local congressman and the reason to expedite was a job offer from a nonprofit. Good luck
