Expedite Request EAD

hi, This morning, I requested expedite EAD, 30 minutes after submitting it I got a response to my USCIS portal saying that after reviewing my request they find more appropriate to forward it to the the officer processing it at the NBC. Anyone experiencing something similar ? I would like to learn a bit more not sure what’s the meaning of that. thanks! Based on pending AOS I 485 + I 130.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention that, My last EAD expired last Sept/2023. I submitted the renewal on 03/2023. Anyways I’ve been working with that “automatic extension” mentioned in the receipt, so Severe Financial loss, my employer has been sending reminders every week, and we just bought a home. The extension would be due soon if I’m not mistaken.

yes I expedite my ead and it was forwarded to the officer and I was told to wait for 7days for the response and I got a approved after 3weeks
