expedite request
It’s sad that they would deny my expedite request without even giving me the chance to provide evidence. My fiancée is in danger and only has a small amount of time to get out before she gets trapped there permanently. even if our visa got approved during the normal time there would be no way for her to leave. all the airports and ways out of the country will be closed off. It pisses me off that they wouldn’t even look at any evidence. my girl risked her freedom to provide me the evidence.

@Kayden Riding ,
Is your husband in a war zone ? If yes, which country, because there is always a way out.
Kayden RidingFeb 5, 2025
@D DAY she is in the DRC Congo. and yes she is in a war zone in her country. it just started a couple weeks ago. right now she can get out. but she doesn’t have the money and I don’t have enough money for her to be able to leave and stay in another country. and her parents wouldn’t let her leave unless she came here to me. but soon the airports could be closed. they only have about 3-4 airlines that fly there and 2 of them already canceled all their flight there. unfortunately the U.S. embassy was attacked and put on fire so they put a level 4 travel advisory and told all u.s. citizens to leave. so they are not even doing visas right now. she would have to fly to the country over to do it. I’m just afraid for her because there are already over 3,000 dead withen a couple weeks. and she has already been chased and almost beaten but fortunately she narrowly escaped. I just wished the USCIS would have at least looked at my evidence before making a decision.

you don’t have money to help her and move but you have money for her to come,staying in different country now is less than $5k you can’t provide that for her for the mean time that’s crazy

the comment above me, that’s so insensitive of you😢….how sad that people have lacked moral decency nowadays. @Kayden Riding I pray that you find quick solution for your partner🙏🏻

@Kayden Riding ,
I had DRC in my mind before replying to your post, but I don't want to rush to conclusion. The situation there is volatile, but the rebels don't have the ability to reach Kinshasa from Goma now. It will take them months if not years to do considering the size of DRC. But all told, I understand your fears,and I hope everything works out fine for you. All the best !!!!

As far as I know, you can try to expedite your case again. Try to articulate it in a different way this time. Best of luck!

@J Lewis I can appeal it withen 30 days and that’s it. But the problem is they won’t even let me show evidence. I tried multiple way to explain the situation. I wouldn’t be as upset if they would have at least looked at the evidence before making a decision. but they didn’t and told me no after a couple hours after putting it in.

@Kayden Riding the other day I was trying to comment but this thing wouldn’t let me. I am Angolan my country is right by Congo I really think your best bet would be getting her to Luanda and trying to get your case transferred to that consulate if possible. her Getting there wouldn’t be as expensive as you going there.

@JAMNL that’s what we planned on doing if we could have gotten the visa fast tracked. Because I read that you can’t request a transfer of embassies until the the application is approved and sent to the NVC. I can afford to have her go there for interviews and stuff like that but not for her to live there until it gets approved. If I know it would only be a month or two for our case to be approved I could do that. but not for a year or so. and besides her parents are stubborn and wouldn’t let her leave unless it’s to come straight to me. they are to stubborn to leave.

I can understand the entire situation, especially with the parents. I hope it all works out for the best 🙏🏾
