Expedite Request
Hi everyone
i just submitted expedite request for my i-131 online with emma live agent and when i checked case status online it says that my expedite request is currently not assigned for processing
what should i do in this case
anyone did this before help needed

live agent said they will review my request in 5 business days and didn’t asked any documents or evidence

I would give 1 to 2 days to assign my request to an agent.
did live agent ask what kind of emergency you are having ?

no he didn’t asked what kind of emergency just said what criteria for expedite

Ulugbek the service number given to you isn’t to be tracked like a case, it’s just to refer too if an agent asks for it. it will update tomorrow to “Expedite request received”

if it’s an emergency, schedule an info pass at the local USCIS field office, you can talk to customer service or live agent and USCIS will call you back in a few hours to schedule you an info pass

@Cristina: is it still possible for him to schedule info pass at local office even he submitted his I-131 ?

yes, they can issue a temporary AP or adjudicate/ expedite his existing one

you just have to wait! it can take about a week or so. If they need evidence they’ll notify you
