Expedite Parole - F2A
I lost my grandma, the person who raised me alone, July last year, in Brazil. I’m still in the process of grieving and I came to the US in September last year. I applied for the GC in February as a spouse of LPR (F2A). It was current when I applied and I got my 130 approved as well as the 765 in May. When I filed the 131 I sent lots of evidence to ask for a parole because my grandma on my mom’s side is very sick. I sent her exams, her ID, my other grandma’s death certificate, a letter explaining the situation and my birth certificate to proof the relationship. Tried to expedite it before but never got successful. My grandma keeps getting worse and I’m afraid I’m gonna lose her while I’m away. A flight to my home city takes 12 hours at least to get there and funerals are host on the same day or following day of death. I know I’m being a big negative about her stage but it’s been concerning and I need to be prepared for the worst. Now my need to go to expedite the parole has increased with my wedding plans. Since when I filed my case it was current for F2A and I’ve already had my 130 approved in May, my husband and I started planning our wedding in Brazil for April next year, with the hope I’d be able to travel to Brazil by then. We’ve already spent hundreds of thousands on this wedding, plus a huge amount on the honeymoon in in another country. Now my worst nightmare has double reasons with the fear of losing my grandma far away and missing my own wedding. Cancellations are not a possibility and since we’ve hired over 20 companies to do the services, postponing it would depend of their availability on the same day, plus extra costs. I really don’t understand what USCIS gain on “locking” people in US during the process of changing their status. I know I can leave, but then I won’t be able to come back and I’ll have to be away from my husband for god knows how long. I’ve seen horrible stories of people in need to expedite their parole and never getting succeeded. Anyone with a positive story to give me hope or an advice of how to proceed? Thank you in advance. #expediteparole #F2A

@Taynara Hudson congratulations on your wedding and I wish you guys all the best and success. this immigration procedure is never straight forward. I personally would not make plans to have any grand events in another country if my current status does not allow me to freely go and return. I assumed I would be home Dec 2022. now I’m assuming I’ll be home Dec 2023. truth is I have no clue when I will return and as much as I’ve wanted to make plans I refuse to because waiting already is hard on it on. I personally will not want to add financial expections with financial burdens and emotional disappointments to this procedure. when I have my approvals in hand I will make plans again to be in other parts of the world. in my current stage all I can do is wait and pray. what I can say is that if you do leave without permission to leave your time away from your husband will probably double in comparison to the time you currently have to wait with him. I tried multiple times to expedite with no luck. but my luck isn’t your luck and vice versa. what I’m truly trying to say is that you are adding additional stress to your already stressful situation by making plans when you are in such an unpredictable situation already. I hope everyone reading this wishes you good tidings and your parole is granted. 🪬

my wife submitted i-131 in June, then I got RFE for my case which is i-130 spouse, RFE was to prove marriage is bonafide, so me and my wife make plan to meet and we send expedite request for my wife i-131 because RFE last date was 1st September 2023, we try to expedite case for my wife travel documents but Nebraska service center they never responded, what this means is they don't care what's our problems is, they just care about their selfs

@m c 🇹🇹 thank you for your wishes. I agree with you that we should never make plans without knowing for sure but we only started planning after I had the 130 approved and it was current back then so we never thought this would happen. Now I can’t go back and change it because a lot of money has already been spent in the wedding and it’s not just it, but also my grandma’s situation. I posted this here expecting that someone would have an advise on how to expedite my parole due to my situation because what had already been done can’t be undone.

I understand and I truly wish you all the best. I’ve been here for almost 2 years. your gmom unfortunate situation is one of the best ways to get approved for AP. I would suggest using the online chat and calling option atleast twice a week to follow up. they were responding in 3 weeks back in March I think that it’s like 6 weeks now.
