Expedite dependent's combo card but main applicant's card is approved
Hi everyone, My husband and I concurrently filed I-140, I-485, I-765 and I-131. As a dependent I've been expediting my combo card (EAD + AP) due to job loss. Finally I wasn't denied immediately this time and my case status was updated to "Request for additional information received" and "Expedite request received". Today my husband's I-765 case got updated to "New card is being produced". Nothing for me. My husband has never expedited his case. Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Did USCIS make a mistake and approve my spouse's case instead of mine? Or do they usually approve combo cards for applicant and dependents altogether once expedited? Please help thank you very much!

It happened with me! I expedited my I-765 but I didn’t it to my wife case. She is a dependent in my process, so I was thinking if I expedite my process they will automatically expedite her process but not. They approved my request and sent me the combo card but my wife process is still pendent.
We decided to expedite her process too three days ago but we don’t received any answers yet.

My husband's (primary applicant) ead and ap were approved on Feb 7th. Mine on March 4th.

i tried but the further it went was "expedite request received" on Feb 18th.

When did they approve it? Has he received the card already? Maybe you’re on the line if it hasn’t been for too long after his approval.

I hope so too. I’ve seen some people here got their dependent approved too when only the principal applicant requested expedite processing. Your case is the other way. I hope you’re on the line.

hi! which centre did you mail your applications to? and how long did it take until they started processing them upon receiving your papers?

@Ally Z nebraska. I don't know how long... Because I expedited it. Biometrics was done in September.
