Expedite approved
I submitted my I-360 expedite documents on Sept 7, 2025 and I got a notification on Jan 15,2026 that my expedite request has been approved but it been over two months now, no decision has been made on my I-360. Does anyone in here have similar experience? PS: I’m from one of the partially banned countries. Thanks in advance

@Man Man congrats on expedite approval, is the sick family member within the US? are you the primary care taker and also financially responsible for the sick family member? what proof did you provide?

Lol, I have seen people try to cut through the line and want to get their cases expedited and approved as well. But I feel 🥹 for us who first went through abuse, pain, harassment, all types of roller coasters, and financial burdens. We pick up all this and still stand in line, waiting for the day to come for VAWA approval. And here are people with expedite requests. The whole process is painful; everyone here in line has the same hunger and thirst for the day!!! But I know God is watching….! You guys, please like my post if anyone feels the same.😬😂

An approved expedite request means USCIS agreed to prioritize your case, but it does not guarantee an immediate decision or a specific timeline. It moves your case ahead in the queue, but the case still has to go through full review. A couple of points that may explain the delay: Expedite does not bypass background and security checks, which can take additional time VAWA (I-360) cases go through careful review, even when expedited In some cases, nationality or travel history can lead to additional screening, which is outside the expedite scope A delay of a couple of months after expedite approval can still fall within normal handling for these cases. At this point: There is nothing you need to fix or resubmit You can follow up with USCIS if it continues without movement, referencing the approved expedite If delays continue, a congressional inquiry can sometimes help prompt a status update You’re closer than it feels. The expedite approval is a positive step, even if the final decision is taking a bit longer to come through. - Attorney Rami Lee (All information shared here is for general educational purposes only. @Manifest Law I appreciate the insight. Thank you for taking the time to explain other processes that might be involved.
