they don’t tell you how long you have to send them. this is when they see how serious your expedite was. I sent mine 2 hrs after expediting because I gather all the information while waiting in case they asked for proof. good luck

no I mean they don’t tell you when to submit because you need to show them how bad you need this EAD. the sooner the better. I understand sometimes it takes time to collect evidence but if I were you I would do it ASAP so that they know you are desperate. also write them a cover letter explaining your situations that can’t be proved with paper. like I said, I was extremely desperate after waiting for more than 7 months, so I was prepared I got an approval 5 days after I submitted which 2 of those days were weekends

@S M: are you the primary applicant or you’re a dependent? my wife is a dependent and I’m wondering now if USCIS approves expendite requests for dependents considering they don’t necessarily “have” to work

I am a primary applicant

that’s good for you. higher chances than a dependent

you never know until you try. worst case scenario they say no but what if they say yes.

@isacat financial hardship and financial loss. I gave birth and had major hospital bills and other things

@alex everything is a NO unless you try and you could change the answer. I wrote them a letter as well to explain my sidtuaion of financial hardship not working and gave a little baby. even though my husband who is my sponsor is working but it is hard financially

The sooner the better. I wouldn’t go pass the 48hours. We sent ours the next day but we were told to do so within 48hours.

@sassy in your email it said not more then 48 hours? in mine it didn’t say anything…

@IsaCat: it did specify in our email to reply within 48 hours. I believe the fact it doesn’t give you a deadline doesn’t mean they will be waiting for ever. If I were you I wouldn’t wait for more than 48hours to reply. You need to provide some type of evidence. Some people are lucky they just get case expedited right after requesting it. But once they send you an RFE you have to provide something and they will decide according to what you send as evidence.
