Exhausted 2022
I’m gonna be real, with everything currently going on in this political climate, i get more & more exhausted each day. i have a strong sense that we will all be sitting here waiting for much much longer than the uscis website is indicating. not sure if it’s just me, but i’ve been losing sleep racking my brain thinking of how life would look outside the US if this all goes down…all this time, money, mental strain that comes with this process is getting to me

@JoJo JoJo you are right. it's nerve wrecking, however, do not stop upgrading in life, for example doing school and other personal development while waiting for approval cause it's not guaranteed. keep doing what you can be it school or work or save money just in case things go West. Most people pause their lives waiting for an approval and that means stop living for years. There is life also outside the USA. so.. Keep pushing

@M G S true but was thinking of perspective of people waiting on work approvals too and not everyone has access to going to school as much as they would want to but 100% there is life outside USA

don’t think too much. we all don’t live in paradise in this country. a lot of struggles and challenges. I personally feel like I’m ok if I get denial at least I got a lot of experiences and able to live even outside of this country. enjoy your life and be happy.

@Flower 🌷 definitely ✨

@JoJo JoJo I definitely agree. No automatic EAD extension, delays in EAD renewals, and the risk of job loss are all keeping me awake at night.

I’m thinking along those same lines, just in case something negative happens. And one more thing: there are many countries scattered across the globe, perhaps, in fact we might find even better opportunities elsewhere. I agree with all of you, the ideal approach is to start thinking about a Plan B right now, without letting it stop us from living our lives. It’s often exhausting, but we have to be prepared. I hope we all receive a happy verdict, but...

@Carol C yes thanks for sharing. good to know i’m not alone with this perspective

Just wait till coming November elections a lot of changes will happen keep trust in God we all have trust that coming changes will change our life fast keep hope and strong.
Flower 🌷 May 13, 2026
@Yas H I don’t think that something changes in this country. immigration is getting worse every year.

@Flower 🌷 You’re right. they have made this system so much worse now people are thinking to go away from here

@waiting_since Jan_2020 I’ve applied for an EAD since 2024 and i’ve filed concurrently with my adjustment of status and still nothing. Spouse is a US Citizen born and raised and it doesn’t change anything at all. The only reason I haven’t given up is because of all the time and work i’ve already invested and i’m no quitter but i’m so close.

it’s not worth it to struggle for years with immigration system and no life. the price is so high that we pay to be here. the only wealthy people here are enjoying their lives not ordinary people who make $25 per hour. I am probably pessimistic in this matter but it’s true.
