Got approved after 290 days. the only hurdle was the RFE we got to re do medical exams. Faster than expected looking at the current processing times. Checking the mail every day now 😅.

hi, would you mind sharing why you have to redo your medical?
D

Hi Mac Kay. Our lawyers delayed the filling and the exams were more than 60 days older than the receipt date. And they need to be done less than 60 days of the filling date.

most peopl say that medical exam is still valid if it was done within 60days before the I-485 was filed.. and valid for 2 years after when I-485 was filed

@diego lizano, so did you still submit your medical exam and then just found out it is no longer ok to use when USCIS mailed you back?

@Mac Kay correct, our lawyers submitted the exams that were more than 60 days older.. We got a RFE to submit new exams because of the date. This issue delayed by 3 months the decision it seems.
