Emma and status for AOS
I have chat with Emma a few times asking for the last time my case was reviewed. The majority of the times, I am being told that the information is not available on the system and a very few times Emma tell me specific dates. With these discrepancies, how real the information given is true?
Also, Emma told me that adjudication always goes to a field office which it’s weird to me as I have the understanding that sometimes a lot of cases are approved even before going to FO. My case is in NBC and I have seen a few approvals here from people saying that never went to FO.
Any thought or idea on the above? thanks!

EMMA’s answers depend on the live agent. Few are lazy to go into the syatem to look for an answer. One in ten will give detailed response… I too faced this issue.
Coming to your second question, yes, adjudications are done in FO. You will not be notified that case is transferred to FO except if you are lucky to get that info from EMMA. FO adjudicates and NBC sends approval notices. Transfer to FO is a mandatory step. It need not be lical FO…

Thanks @m m and @G L . So is it possible that Emmma could say that my case is at NBC and needs to be transferred and the reality is that cases might have been transferred already?

I sent my rfe medical in January to NBC . my case is still there . always when I ask Emma if my case was transferred she says NO and it’s not necessary to go to a field office . NBC can approve your case . but I don’t know 🤣

Tjanks for the information @SM R! yeah it seems that agents can tell different things. Did your case was approved from fingerprint were taken status to decision?

@Jorge Alberto, I got an RFE for medicals and birth certificate, and when I submitted it in March, it was reflected that the Response to Request for Evidence was received. Then I had to wait more than four months until July 8, when I finally got the approval

Happy for you @SM R ! I have been waiting for about 8 months with no update and agents only say that they don’t need anything from me, hoping to get approval soon.

@Jorge Alberto @ana oliveira Same here too but not that long, sent medicals RFE in May and waiting for 3 months, being hopeful is the only thing we can do. Whenever I ask Emma love agent always same answer your case is within normal time limits
