everything comes at a risk especially after you have done your interview. I did my interview back in June and I have advanced parole. I was hesitant to use it but I used it a week and a half ago to go to Jamaica for 10 days. The hardest part is thinking about what if they make a bad decision while am there. However they didn’t make a decision while I was there, the employee had a little trouble boarding me but she called Miami immigration to verify my document was good and they told her exactly what to do. I went to the vistors line when I landed and the officer asked where I was coming from and what my final destination is, then he proceeded to let me know I have to go to secondary inspection to get my passport stamped. Another agent came to take me to secondary inspection, when I was there atleast 15 other persons were waiting, they take your passport then call your name when the agent picks up your passport. He only asked who I was traveling with and then what was my reason for going then he stamped my passport. The whole process lasted about 45 mins and I was cleared to go. My only advice is to just get to the airport a little earlier when coming back incase they are having issues boarding you. @tanisha Salazar

This is exactly the issue I was always worry abt without the I131 issued , and the nightmare of losing our beloved or they are critically ill during the long waiting of my green card. I hv a 93 years mother in Hong Kong , I know how u feel . Be strong ! No worry to use yr emergency 1131. . Just make sure only book a longer lay over time at least with 2.5 hrs , when u transit at the first entry port in USA . Sometimes it will take u like 1.5 hrs to get through the immigration in other room .
