What is your emergency?

I tried because of a deceased relatove, but unfortunatelly the didn’t get back to me for a month 😔 But I haven’t been calling them, maybe that would help to Speed up the proces.

This is my experience, my dad passed away two weeks ago. I called them then say infopass and was transferred to a person, told them my emergency ( have your receipt number) and ask for emergency parole. If you haven’t completed biometrics they will schedule you and set up an appointment for interview. Make sure you have evidence (death certificate and proof of relationship with the deceased.)

Kay Bee ~ Sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. Are you able to go home for the funeral? My dad passed away on the 15th of the month. The death certificate just got written up on Friday. I won’t be able to afford the flight prices even if USCIS does grant the AP. Good luck to you.

Hey KP my condolences to you, I have my interview next Friday. With a prayer in my heart I hope I’ll be granted emergency parole. So sorry you won’t be able to make it

Kay Bee ~ Thanks. I really hope you can attend the service. If I had been granted an EAD while waiting for this approval, I would have had money saved up & I would be attending the funeral. Hope all goes well for you.

hey KP what type of proof of relationship can I provide?

@Jay N ~ 1) Marriage cert 2) pics if you have them 3) write a declaration on how you met, your relationship, when you got married, who attended, etc. 4) declaration from friends who are aware of the relationship 5) various bills in both of your names hth
