You may have to think twice before making any decision. Usually it is not suggestible to travel if you are overstayed, . There would be plenty of questions needs to be answered at the port of entry. I'm not an expert on this but i have heard these things from others. I would suggest to talk to an attorney before you make any travel arrangements.

some posted in here about Sunday saying that they did and they were just places in a room and I think asked a few questions when they were returning

@JP Bronkhorst, wow...nice. You mean you got it on the spot after the interview? Were you asked for any evidence for your travel purpose? and you said it is only valid for 30 days, right? 2. Meanwhile, your actual regular I-131 travel document is still in processing, right?

they approved it on the spot yes , yes my father had passed away so they wanted a copy of the death certificate and a Unabridged birth certificate to prove that he was my father, and yes the regular one is still in processing
