looking at the numbers this retrogression seems to be 100% political. Why give GC to AOS applicants who hold advanced degrees and will likely vote against democratic policies when they get their citizenship while they can import immigrants and their entire families for low skilled jobs who probably might favor democratcs on the long run. Not trying to belittle anyone, just my 2 cents. Don’t think Trump will be good for y’all either, if his immigration advisors like Stephen Miller have their way this category will be gone for good. At least y’all aren’t getting rfe’d left and right with eccentric rfes, enjoy that. All this leneancy is going to change if Trump wins.
