@P S once you have the I-485J signed, you can send it to the USCIS. but I just gave my on the day of my interview, and it was fine

@yabe yeh I did EB3 with BDV. I started the i-485J with envoy global, the same lawyer of BDV process. I didn’t have any issues with BDV

@Kim kim Just go to the envoy website and request to open an supplement J form on the chat. They should help you with that with no extra charges. Just make sure you have the new sponsor already lined up and ready to sign the documentation that envoy will provide

@Rogerio Moraes thank you!☺️ And we should discuss about Immigration Process with the new sponsor. For for the fast food position is easy to get the job, but I’m not sure the new sponsor is gonna help us. I just want to move to other city with same job.

@Kim kim I moved from California to New York. As long as the job position is the same, you will have no issues for job portability.

@Rogerio Moraes did you take lawyer for the interview and can you please post what questions were asked to you?

@Aaaa S I paid a lawyer to go with me at the day of my interview. The immigration officer was very nice and she only asked basic and relevant questions regarding the process. It was basically confirming all the information that I provided on the I-485 form. She didn’t go deep into asking much details, but she requested proof of paychecks from the employer, employment letter, marriage certificate and photos from relationship if you are applying for dependents, all previous approval status notice if applicable, and random questions about what you answered on the form.

@Rogerio Moraes i am also from bdv and would like to know how did you manage a lawyer, did you get it from bdv or somewhere else, can you let us know please?

@Aaaa S BDV wanted to charge me a lot of money just for someone to go to the interview. I would have to pay the lawyer trip expenses, food, hotel etc. I just found a cheaper lawyer on the state that my interview was placed to accompany me.
