Eb3 -Card in mailbox
Hi everyone, I finally received my greencard but I'm just here to tell everyone to hold the faith, it's coming. I have been studying in the US for a few years on F1 and decided to apply for Eb3 with a sponsoring company. Well I got approved two weeks after my interview. I was nervous for those two weeks wondering if I had to wait months to be told that I was approved or not. First things first, I decided to go to my interview haven't started work on my ead card. I was scared because I didn't know how I would show paystubs. I did not want to change my interview date to a later date so I decided to go to my eb3 interview without my lawyer. I was in the middle of moving to start my job when the interview was schedule. The interview went okay to say the least but I wasn't sure if I would be approved or RFE. Anyways the interview lasted about 20 minutes. I told the USCIS officer I was about to move to start working for sponsoring company but my interview was schedule before my move. I decided to wait and attend interview. I kept searching every website, every group etc for someone who had a similar case like mine where they went to interview before starting the job. A lot of people told me to reschedule but in the end I decided to just attend interview and explain. #holdthefaith

@J P, the officer asked when I'm going to start working for employer and I provided the date.
S BAug 13, 2021
And that was it?
J MAug 13, 2021
Yes that was it, and I explained I was going to start 2 weeks before my interview but decided to postpone start date until interview was finished.

Thank you for your explanation. How long did it take to vet the interview after you received your ead? I received mine like a month ago and I haven’t started yet.
J MAug 14, 2021
@JP around 3 months

if you don't mind, can you please share the questions which the officer asked during interview.
J MSep 8, 2021
She basically asked who I was going to work for, salary, location, degrees, schools attended, why do I want to work for this company and I have a higher degree, and about my eb3 application such as history etc.
