Marriage is by far easier than NIW.

I did an EB1. it is an absolute nightmare of a process! for marriage based the burden of proof is much lesser and easy to provide evidence for most bonafide marriages

sure, on May29th 2020 I decided that I will be filing an EB1 I140. I previously had an approved EB2-I140 with my current employer. As you are aware Indians have such a huge backlog that I had no hopes of my PD becoming current unless I upgraded to EB1. I started working on my references and completing journal reviews, renewed old contacts etc. I had evidence for the following three requirements 1. scholarly articles 2. original scientific contribution 3. judging other people's scholarly work. I worked with an attorney and he was thorough. On Sep 23rd I filed my I140 premium processing. in less than 4 business days I got email approval, even before I got a receipt notice. My attorney felt I had a really strong case. But the amount of preparation and writing reference letters was back breaking. I had references from scientists from 7 different countries. if you have an option to go the marriage route, u must definitely consider that. I'm told EB2 niw is easier than EB1, but still the amount of work is nontrivial
