if your PD is May 19th 2024, it would be 27 months. Could you please clarify that?

@S S I’m just counting the time because the submission and the response. From 05/19/2025 until today, is approximately 15 months. the reason I pay attention to this is because I have seen cases with different timelines.

@Jesus Pirela @Geo F guys my suggestion bite the bullet and go for pp. FYI there are currently 90k niw cases pending, that's an insane number. it's going to be extremely slow.

@Jesus Pirela , I have a question; My initial priority date when I submitted the application was January 31, 2023; it was approved within three months and then sent to the Department of State for visa processing. I had my interview at the consulate in my countr on August 12, 2024, but I was placed in administrative processing, and the file was returned to USCIS for review on June 24, 2025. I still haven't received a response, and now I don't know which of the two dates is my priority date.

@William Vare Your priority date should still be January 31, 2023. The date USCIS received the case back from the consulate for review does not become a new priority date. The original priority date generally remains attached to the approved petition unless the petition is revoked in a way that causes the priority date to be lost.
