EB2-1 approved!! SRC to NBC, transferred April 18 and "new card being produced" today on 6/7. Ask me any questions!
It feels like the wait has been forever (process started with my employer in August 2018), PERM took a very long time and filed September 1, concurrently with premium processing. I filed my I-693 with my other documents. No interview, no RFE and I don't know which FO my application went to. I am so grateful to this community who was supportive through this process, and getting out of the TSC/SRC hole was a huge deal! Case was approved 49 days after transfer, and I never received my AP or EAD, although I had an H-1B at the time so I wasn't a priority. Best of luck to everyone and may the process be smooth for you!

Congratulations š. The long wait was the most difficult part for me as well. I imagine this must be a huge relief for you. It's awesome to finally get that approval. I'm EB2-1, went through the same steps, transferred to NBC in April, and anxiously waiting for my GC in the mail anytime from now.

@OA I totally understand. I was so excited to get transferred to NBC and then it dragged on... looks like they're getting through the April's, my friend was transferred a week and a half after me and received his I-693 RFE yesterday.

@Laura: Yes, I think they're working on April cases now. I read that after the "New card is being produced" status, you should have it in hand within a week.

@isacat the cases is an error. I had PP and my I-140 was approved in September 2021.

@fnuinu I actually never had a student visa. I came originally for a J-1 exchange... then H-1B cap exempt, then switched employers to a TN, then H-1B lottery... and now finally PERM/ I-485.

@Laura Congrats on your GC. Mine also got transferred few days ago. on that transfers notice it was mentioned ā We completed preliminary review. we transferred your case to NBCā Did you also have the same notice? or different?

@Mohammed no, I didn't receive that update before it was transferred. My case was pretty boring! I think the fact that someone even looked at yours is a good thing, I hope the wait is short once it's at NBC. Good luck!

I know that feeling Laura Iām in the same space at the moment lolā¦ exactly like you said, illusion of control. Iām trying to let that compulsiveness go but hereās hoping the GC arrives and cures me š¤£
