I filed concurrently under EB1C to Texas in Dec 2020. Nothing happened so far.

hi Ryan: when did you get your RFE? July 2020 means your series is SRC209038 or 39... mine is 41, and I didn’t get any medical RFE so far
Mihai pFeb 6, 2022
@Prasanna: best is to check on Case Tracker for the series that are close to your receipt number. looking how “fast” TSC moves, unless there’s some miracle, you should prepare for 18 months wait or more
Mihai pFeb 6, 2022
got it... did you call USCIS since your case is outside processing time? lucky you as you got medical RFE, I didn’t get RFE yet :(
Mihai pFeb 6, 2022
best of luck! I’m also EB1C, and my lawyer didn’t want to include the medicals in my initial submission, so now I’m waiting for the medicals RFE

I am EB1C and filed concurrently in February 2020. No RFE for medicals yet, but have completed them.

I spent the last couple of days reading series of SRC cases on the Case Tracker app. I’ve seen cases filed in October 2018 that are still stuck in fingerprinting stage. my hope to get green card in 3-6 months are abandoned. I’ll be happy if I get it this year
CG 7Feb 6, 2022
I have been outside of processing time for 5 months, the first two service requests were a waste of time. I filed a other last week.
Mihai pFeb 6, 2022
@CG 7: unfortunately you’ll have to wait another 3.5-4 months to have your Houston field office cross outside processing time before reaching out to your senator and congress representatives. I’m hearing they won’t help with your case unless the date of the field office is also outside processing time
Mihai pFeb 6, 2022
I have 2 weeks until I’m outside processing time. so many hopes ...
Mihai pFeb 6, 2022
@CG 7: is there a minimum period that you need to wait before raising a SR? like 30 or 60 days?
S KFeb 7, 2022
As soon as it becomes outside processing, you can raise one.

thank you guys for such quick response.

a friend had to wait 2 years to get her EB1C from Texas. I’m on 14 months, so this is what I’m mentally preparing for. It may get better with them now hiring more staff but probably won’t

@Prasanna to be clear I did my biometrics in Aug 2021 and got my EAD/AP literally last week, if these count as progress. I meant I still haven’t got my 140 approved yet.

@J B that’s so sad news! I didn’t know that TSC is hiring more people or doing anything to speed up the process, though. the normal processing time is now up to 51.5 months at Texas. :(
Mihai pFeb 7, 2022
@S K: thanks. how many days should I wait before raising the second SR? is it 30 days or 60 days between them? I imagine there is some wait period, otherwise people would raise countless SRs
J BFeb 7, 2022
so I’ve seen people on Reddit speaking about applying to be officers off job ads and apparently the USCIS director has mentioned it in places (I think Twitter). Unfortunately the consensus seems to be that it will take 6 months once hired to be up and running, so not a quick fix
S KFeb 7, 2022
@Mihai, that’s right. it doesn’t allow within 30 days of previous request.
N JFeb 14, 2022
mine was submitted Nov 21 and biometric done in Jan 22. it's weird. randon order for processing? someone said filed in Sep 21 and did not received biometric appointment
Aaryan RFeb 14, 2022
yeah.. same case for me.. did not receive biometrics appointment yet.. which is your processing center?
when will greenFeb 14, 2022
I think when the biometrics can be done depends on your location
N JFeb 14, 2022
@Aryan R - mine is texas
Aaryan RFeb 14, 2022
mine too.. probably I'm not lucky enough
