@Vishal Shah May I know why did you have to send police clearance certificates for EB1C? And is it for I-140 or I-485?

hi Vishal - how the process for getting PCC? did you have to get one from your home country and one from the US as well?

@spv c it’s for consular processing. it’s part of the NVC civil documents that I had to send.

@A T yes I had to get PCC from everywhere I had lived for more than 6 months. I got one from US as well but there is confusion whether that was needed as the Embassy and NVC website says something else and my lawyer told me to get one so I did. now it has expired and I am trying to figure out if I have to get a new one or not for my visa interview

thanks - I applied for NVC as well, I got a mail saying I should submit all the documents. My PD is June 2023. I guess even if I submit the documents, they will only call for interview when the date becomes current.

when did you submit the documents? did they documentarily qualify you? if so, when?

I haven’t submitted the documents yet. I am in the US, I am debating whether to do AOS or still pursue NVC. my PD is June 23 what’s your PD?

@Vishal Shah Was your card mailed? mine approved ncbp on Aug 13th. approved on Aug 15th. still waiting on card was mailed to me status.

my PD is July 2001 I was DQ on April 27 and now have my consular interview on sept 13

yeah I sent the passports for stamping 3 weeks ago and still waiting to get them back
