I think it worth to upgrade if your PD is close to current or current, for some country like mine I have to wait for at least 8 -12 months to be able to submit I 485, so PP could not accelerate the process and I choosed to save the money

absolutely upgrade, you don't want to me like me waiting for 350 days now no response and worrying about the possibility of an eventual denial setting back my PD progress by an entire year. I was also told by the lawyer to go with regular and I regret listening to that advice.
