EB1-C I-140 Timeline
I figured I would share my timeline with the community. Company immigration lawyer handled the RFE, all I know is it pertained to my job duties in Canada, and was mostly a clarification issue.

I can now make out or wildly guess how USCIs work

They work on chargibility country and priority date

Did you file concurrently i485 or just the i140
R

Just I-140, working on I-485 now. Again not sure how any of this stuff actually works, the lawyers handle all of it, so I can’t really add any more than just the timeline post.

I kind of feel the same. it looks like cases that are filed together are moving way slower than cases that were filed separately

EB1C I140 submitted in Jan 21 (Nebraska). still waiting for approval. i485 submitted in May

Thanks a lot. Another case where just i140 non concurrent is processed. I think now I can vaguely guess it out by looking at historic trend. For concurrent process as per uscis website i485 and i140 are processed simultaneously. Since i485 takes time and based on chargibility thus it’s taking forever for India nationals to get i140 approved or at least get a rfe who filed concurrently.

I think your chargibility is ROW going by name

yes, I’m ROW (Canadian citizen). I-485 is looking like 1-2 years or so for my category once they receive it.

Makes sense. India the dates rarely become current and hence lawyers advised to file concurrently so that we can lock our filing i485 and EAD and worst case at least get EAD if we dates get retrogressed

well I was getting frustrated by delay and got Canada visa to migrate there
