EB I-485 after RFE — next steps timing? spouse case not updated

Hi — quick question (employment-based case). RFE response was delivered about 5–6 weeks ago. Case was stuck on “Response To RFE Received,” and recently changed to: “Correspondence Was Received And USCIS Is Reviewing It.” My derivative spouse case has not had the same update yet. For those who had this status change: • how long did it take to get the next update? • did your spouse case update at the same time or later? Thanks!

Spouse case don't get updated sometimes but unless applicant's case is updated, that's the latest case status. You can always reach out to confirm. In our case applicant's status changed from 'Ready to be scheduled for interview' to 'Interview Scheduled'. However, it stayed the same for the derivative. However when the notice came with the interview details, it was for both. Hope this helps!
