Priority Date: Aug , 2020
I-485 pending
Received RFE in October 2025 requesting 2 passport-style photos
USCIS received my response and updated status to: “Correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it.”
In November 2025, case status changed to: “Case remains pending because no immigrant visa number is immediately available.”
My priority date became current again in December 2025 and remains current now
and status is same till now
Has anyone had a similar timeline after visa numbers became available again?
next step will be ?

check your processing time in USCIS website and have the date you applied for your gc and see if you can request a service request/inquiry
if your case is out of processing timeline then they should send you a response
the priority date is only to know if a visa is available to you, the day you applied for you gc matters too

my PD is Feb 20,2020 my last update was fingerprint were taken then was placed pending due to the visa unavailability and it’s been pending for a year with no request of evidence or further action
