EB-1c I-485 interview experience
We had our interview this morning (San Antonio office),
I just wanted to share the experience with everyone and tell you not to be discouraged.
We went with our 3 young children (5 and below) and had a great experience with the interviewer, she had lots of patience and understanding to our situation, she kept everything short as possibly could.
As for questions - She went over the general info (name, address, work title and org name etc.) and afterwards just asked the mandatory questions from the I-485 submission. We came with lots of paper work but was only asked to handover the letter we got for the interview.
Don’t arrive with expectation to get a “you are approved” on the spot, we’ve been told she is sending our file to be cleared with home land security (Visa info, I-94 etc.) and that everything seems in tact from her end.
Fingers crossed we will get an update soon,
but as I was nervous before I wanted to share this with everyone in hope it helps.

Hi, yes the only thing I’ve handed over was the interview notice and our passports.
Just got the approval notice a couple of hours ago!
PD is May 24’, country of birth Israel.

@Roi N Thanks for sharing, what do you do like are you executive manager in a company and are you currently employed in the field? I am little worried of interview on NIW because I lost my job and still searching for a job and don’t know what to say in the interview

@Roi N Were your kids beneficiary/dependents on your file?
reason why I am asking is: I have my 1 year old son as my dependent and we had biometrics done in Jan 2025, however, for his petition the status online still reflects “Case received and receipt notice has been sent”
