EB-1A, filed Dec 2025, wife got her EAD but I got nothing — anyone else?
Hi everyone. Looking to connect with anyone in a similar situation.
I'm EB-1A, from Brazil, with my I-140 already approved before filing. My wife and I filed our I-485 and I-765 concurrently on December 26, 2025.
Here's what's driving me crazy: my wife already received her EAD back in April — but I've gotten nothing. No green card, and no EAD either. Both of ours were filed the same day, same way.
I understand the green card can take a long time, and I've made peace with that. What's really wearing me down is the EAD.
My I-765 has been stuck with no movement since January. Meanwhile my wife's went through without issue.
Is anyone else in this boat? Did yours eventually move? Anything that helped?
Honestly running out of ideas at this point. Any shared experience would mean a lot. Thanks.

EB1a filled January 2026, but no update yet. similar situation wife got the EAD two month back but I have not.

what most people say is that the wife gets the EAD first because most likely what you are getting next is the green card directly. so you will not be receiving an EAD but the green card. This is from those that have shared their experiences.

Yeah, I've heard that too. It's great that the green card comes directly instead. But this period without being able to work, without a SSN and everything else... that's the really hard part. It's been tough.

same here wife got her EAD approved and I haven’t and I really need to work very stressful situation!
