EB-1A Approval
Hey guys,
My EB-1A petition was approved two days ago. I have a PhD in African Literature and Culture from the UK and Australia (jointly awarded) and am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at a UK university. I used the services of a professional writer for the initial petition and RFE.

My EB-1A petition was approved on December 27.
My priority date is November 15. Got an RFE November 22 stating that I met two of the ten criteria and asking that I provide more documents to support the other criteria I claim to meet. I responded to the RFE after a week plus some days and USCIS acknowledged it on 18 December. On 27 December, my case was approved.
I have a PhD in African Literature and Culture from UK and Australia (jointly awarded) and am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at a UK university.
I tried to contact some lawyers in the US but it seems most of them prefer working with STEM candidates and do not know how to demonstrate that what we do (as humanities researchers) can substantially benefit the US economy.
I eventually worked with a private professional writer to deliver both the initial petition and the RFE.
I used premium service.
I have 7 publications and 11 citations; numerous awards and scholarships; and met up to 5 out of the 10 criteria for the EB-1A category.
