EAD/AP waiting...
it's been so long more than 7 months now but still no update whatsoever. Bio was done quickly but no interview for I-485 nor any update for I-131/765. I've seen most people getting approved in less than or about 200 days but I'm at 216 now. What can I do? Married USC, MSC at NBC. RFE was for I-485 not 131/765

it really depends on where you live. ead took 10 months for me. but some people are much faster. I'm in the same boat now with slow i485. there is not much you can do unfortunately.

but why would EAD/AP take so long considering it's being processed in the same service center NBC. I understand 485 would take longer since it's being processed at local field office

I honestly have no idea. but I've noticed people that live in the same city tend to have comparable waiting times, and other cities are completely different. if you have a good reason you can ask for expedite, but they will just reject it you cannot backup your claim.

I asked to expedite last month and couple weeks ago it updated to your expedite request received. I did that in an effort to have them at least look at how long they have been sitting on their ass while everyone around my timeline is getting approved but still no update

Very understandable. Unfortunately with COVID and the new variants, it’s anyones guess. Personal experience: 6/7 pd and received ead on 1/15. MSC / AOS, USC. - 485 = case ready for interview since 9/21 no change and - ead arrived w/o AP despite filing concurrent. 131 = case received 6/21 no change ***Fingers crossed you receive an update soon. I’m in soCAL btw
