EAD/AP renewal send to Vermont service
Hi Vawa Family ,
I posted my EAD/ AP renewal to Vermont services center on 27th Nov. and my post got delivered the next day , but I haven’t received any receipt notice yet.
I filed it myself instead of paying my attorney, but now I have no way to follow up.
it’s been 2 weeks, I know it some of the receipts are delayed by a month.
my question is if I don’t hear from USCIS for a month can I file a renewal application again?

No, I took them 5weeks to send mine and I have seen people comment here that it took about 2months. just chill, you will receive it

it takes 2-4 weeks to send them the receipts as I have heard. no need to worry. I’m also sending mine this week. can I ask what to send including I765 , I131 , copy of I485 , copy of previous combo card. pls suggest if I’m missing anything. thanks

@gps . I’m also doing myself instead of my lawyer.

@gps . you can also call after 30 days to see if they received it. when you call the number keep saying I did not receive my receipt notice and they’ll get you over to an agent.

@sam singh I added the copy of the tear out sheet (paper on which EAD combo card was stuck to when issued ) it has a barcode. also your government ID , 2 photos, I-94

this is the who list
1. complete I-765 form
2. copy of current EAD front and back
3.I-94
4. 2 passport photos
5. I-485 receipt notice
6. valid govt. issued if front and back
7. copy of passport front and back
8. form G-1145, E-notification of application/petition acceptance
you will need same set of docs for I-131 AP renewal too

VerTRASH is the worse center. They don't work there. Everything is super backlogged!!!

Just wondering why people do include 2 photos, I have renewed ead/ap combo for 3X now and I never included photos

@F A hey, I’m including I765 form , I131 form , photocopy of I485 receipt , photocopy of previous combo card. that’s enough right?

@sam singh you can include a cover letter and title it “Application for Employment Authorization renewal and Travel document Renewal”. You can put in the body of the letter something like “I am applying for EAD renewal and AP renewal because my current card has expired (or will expire, whichever is applicable to you) and enclosed with the forms are photocopy of my EAD/AP, copy of I-485 notice.

can we send before 180 days of expiration ? I see some guys sending to renew 7 ,8 months before expire

@gps . like I said mine took about 5weeks. Yours is just about 3weeks which is not long enough to cause any panic. Give it time, you’ll receive it

received receipt notice yesterday for EAD/AP renewal , exactly 1 month from application receiving date
