EAD/AP approved almost in one whole year
Approved after multiple follow ups when the case went outside normal processing times. Not sure which one of the below helped. - First service request raised online, elapsed after 30 days without any update - Raised second service request calling the service center which will reach its 30 days in another 5 days - Submitted request with ombudsman indicating all the above reasons about 2 weeks back. God only knows if USCIS approved without even looking into any of the above. Finally 2 done and waiting for 485 next!

congrats! Who knows what triggers the approval? luck or logic? and god knows how many hours of our lives are wasted because of this broken system. Glad that your wait is over, mate.

EAD took one full year? omg! this is too long a time. I am wondering what would it be for my case. I filed in May 21 in this same category. wish me luck!

@VK SI - Hope yours get approved sooner but for those oct/nov/dec 2020 filers, there are thousands who are still waiting for EAD.

It’s very difficult to know how the cases are handled and in what order. It’s a mystery with USCIS. Wish you all good luck!
