the waiting time is really frustrating, I received my Advance parole approval but still waiting on Vawa and EAd which is out of processing time 24 months so far. I do not know what else to do. I did many inquiries at Vermont center, never received any response and my last Prima facie was issue on December 28 2023 for 180 days. what can do ?

what category did you choose on your work permit?

did you apply for both, work authorization based on vawa and l-485? if you have applied only 1 work authorization based on vawa, you will only receive your work authorization once your vawa is approved.
C09 is l-485 work authorization
c31 is Vawa work authorization

I applied C09 And I got I131 which was transferred to Nebraska service center and my EAD is at Vermont center.

@king king so in order to receive the work authorization while Vawa pending I need to choose c09 ?
it doesn’t matter that the i485 is still pending?

😁😁😁😁😁 yes if you choose c31 you ll get it after your vawa approve
but if you choose c09 you ll get it 3 to 9 months when uscis recived your I-485 application.
you have rights to choose the 2 ... c09 and c31... so you will get c09 fist and c31 after your vawa get approve...
