I gave traveling reason that I want to see my family abroad as I cannot travel with EAD in pending

I submitted an expedite request because of a job offer, the offer has no expiration date. it’s been a month, and USCIS didn’t get back to me.

Is there no case update on the portal like ‘Expedite request has been received’?

I submitted it based on emergency and humanitarian reasons. The job reason is very mainstream I think and a lot of people use it

Nope! nothing! also, I asked the congressman to check the status for me, and they didnt even respond to him. I ask the agent through Emma, and they keep telling me it’s still being processed. First they said it takes 7 days, after the 7 days passed, they started telling me that it takes 7 to 30 days. This Saturday markes the 30 days since I submitted it. Im sure they won’t even bother getting back to me with anything.

I submitted expedite request last Friday and there was a status update to ‘Expedite request received’ on Monday. No updates after that. I think they can take 2-3 weeks to approve, deny or request additional documentation for the reason you want to expedite.

@john doe is there a current expedite request in progress? You can try creating a new one, if there is one already in progress they will let you know

@N PSK I can keep you updated. I had my biometrics on 5th October so expecting status change for interview request soon

It’s still in progress, I’m still waiting for a decision on it. The logic for submitting an expedite request, is because there’s urgency for it. might be the same to just wait for the work permit to come normally in this caee

Sam I had biometrics 10/14!!!!

I had a job but with current visa expiring would need to quit. I argued that this hurts me financially as well as it would be a serious setback for the company as it would be hard to replace me in due time in the current climate. (I had an employer letter ready but they never asked) expedite request was accepted based on that.

PD renewal was August, expedited on Oct 27 based on financial loss, and didn’t hear back from them but yesterday my case changed to your new card has been ordered. This is for my 4th EAD tho not first

I had one rejected yesterday (TSC), they said they are being extremely strict with them and only approving ‘emergency’ situations which makes me think the severe financial loss is not being considered. I provided substantial back up.

April 28 2021 form received.I expedite 10/06/2021 ,not approval or denial. I made 2nd expedite 11/21/2021 ,card being produced the 11/23/2021 without evidence

Service Center is Lee Summit, MO. Maybe, I followed up with them on Tuesday regarding my expedite request and they had no updates. Still no updates on i485 after biometrics
