EAD Authorized & Produced (March 4)
Family-based. I requested expedite processing three weeks ago, and provided evidence of a job offer to support it. So happy now!

congrats.wow so even after rfe response received @sergio you havent heard nothing then either?

Did you get anything when you submitted the expedite request? I submitted an expedite request and got the case number but not sure when I should be getting anything else.

ES: I got no confirmation whatsoever after I sent the supporting documentation for the expedite request by fax. There really should be a better, more reassuring mechanism for USCIS to confirm to petitioners what is going on at all times…

@sergio I sent the document by fax on Tuesday and I’m still waiting.

@sergio so someone on a family based green card can apply for job and ask for an expedite when he gets a job offer?
Sergio RiveraMar 5, 2022
@fatou dialo: I don’t know if you can generalize from my particular case, but I did start looking for a job 2 months ago, and as soon as I got an offer I was happy with, In writing, I did ask for my processing to be expedited.

@sergio thank you for the answer. Your I765 was a i485 family based case? I’m trying to know if someone that got a job offer can ask for an expedite case or it has to be for a financial reason like if there is not enough income in the household or medical reason? I first came to USA for my daughter to spend time with her dad but finally we decide to go for an adjustment of status and apply for i765 as well. I was doing already a consular processing for over a year and was on NVC stage. I used to work in my country and not being able to work here at all make me depressed!
