Felix, did you wait for the I 140 to be approved before filing for that expedited EAD? you and I both have same PD date and same office, but still haven’t heard anything re the approval of the I 140

yes my I-140 was approved before filing my adjustment of status. in regards to how to file the expedite request, you have to call or talk to an agent for them to put in the request. here is a link to some of the reasons one can request expedite

thanks for this Felix! I really hope to hear from them soon. We have the same PD (Feb 5 2024) from the same office, but it’s saying still processing. Trying not to be too anxious.

if you have an online uscis account, you can request expedite request from inbox. request start from inbox, and you upload evidence in unsolicited doc section of the specific form. they reply on your request in 2-3 days, about either they accepted the request or not.

hi I didn't have to pay for the expedite EAD. please see the link I posted above for the criteria that can qualify you for expedited processing

No I haven’t gotten the EAD, I still haven’t even been approved for the I-140 it’s saying “still processing”…@alkaline f

it's took 30 days after request was submitted. I was told it should usually be 10 days but there's a backlog. I hope yours moves faster

@Felix A , please aside the job offer, what other evidence did you attach? I applied and I was denied.

Thank you @Felix A for making this post. I saw it and follow through immediately since my current EAD will be expiring in Feb 2026. USCIS acknowledged that my request meets their minimum requirements and that my request application will be sent to Nebraska for adjudication. During this period, I have been advised to wait for 30 days to making further inquiry. Passing and meeting the minimum requires have strong evidence and qualifying circumstances. I’m a father of 4 kids, including new born twins last month. Of course, losing my job will plunge my family into serious financial difficulties. Upload a letter narrating your story plus documents showing substantial evidence.

hi Sara, not yet. looks like people are over between December 3rd and 17th have had similar delays
