EAD approved fast
I got my combo card in 80 days and I couldn’t be happier. the only thing I’m concerned is about the paper they sent it with the card saying that if the person was out of status the reentry could be denied in case of traveling abroad. My student visa expired 15 months ago but I kept my status because I’m still enrolled and attending school. I’m afraid of traveling anyways… I’ll wait for the green card. hoping is going to be soon.

Congrts! The F1 visa that is on your passport is only for entry! having expired visa is not important, the important thing is your F1 status. In otherwords, you have to keep your SEVIS record active. As long as it active your legelly on F1 status as much as any other F1 student who has valid visa. Good luck on your green card!
