EAD APPROVED AS COMBO CARD
Hello lawfully community !!! Just wanted to share my timeline and give some hope to others, like some of your posts did for me ! I just got approved my EAD and AP. I did an expedite by myself and through Congress. I only got the update for the approved EAD, but I just checked in my DOCUMENTS on USCIS and it says it’s a COMBO card, I’m so happy., wishing everyone here to receive good news, it’s truly draining… Thank you and keep faith

Thank you hii ! I expedited my AP (i131) a month ago based on humanitarian reasons (mother being sick). 5 days later; they asked me to fax evidence, which I did. I then contacted congressman to submit an expedite at the same time, and I asked them to expedite I131 and also i765 (so I can travel back home to see my mother, and also be able to work). I don’t know if it worked, but my EAD got approved. I hope it will arrive as combo card ! SC is NBC, I’m in NYC.

@alizay alizay I’m so sorry to hear. What were the reasons of your expedite and through what channel did you make the request ?

did they ask for evidence ? did you try through Congress & ombudsman?

I did also through congrass after five these the uscis send email that it is in back ground pending prosess on 5 March and until now nothing mine is just humniturin parol

@Tia Tamara, what evidences did you send and also can you help me with you letter template. i applied to expedite for this exact reasons but I was denied

@meeeeee - I asked a medical affidavit from my mom’s doctor, that is stating her condition, and how it is crucial that I’m at her bedside as immediate family member. I also submitted the hospital and lab results, the official ones and translated in English. As to my cover letter, I simply put my name, receipt / alien number, FO adress , the reasons why I am asking to expedite and that I have attached all supporting documents. I then contacted the congressman, send her the exact same documents and she also submitted an expedite on my behalf. Good luck !
