EAD and SSN
Hi guys,
I have a question, after the EAD is already approved?, Am I gonna recieve SSN? or should I apply for it?

i received mine the same day

though I’ve seen post here saying that they didn’t get their SSN even if they ticked Yes in the EAD application form. after one week and you didn’t get your SSN yet, call SSA and book an appt.

I received my EAD about two weeks ago and up to now I haven’t gotten my SSN yet,so I’m wondering is it because of the holidays?

I called and apparently it was never in process even after ticking yes in the App, I wasted time waiting for it and now it will take about 4 weeks more at least
