USCIS is trying to clear EAD backlog. Mostly people are getting EAD only.

Copied from one of the legal forums. Where is my Combo Card? USCIS is Decoupling Work Permits and Advance Paroles. Over the last few days, a few of our Adjustment of Status Clients received approved employment authorization documents (EADs) that do not include advance parole (AP) travel authorization, even though we properly requested both benefits. In the past, when an applicant requested both an EAD and AP, USCIS had previously been issuing “combination cards” or “combo cards” that included both the employment and travel authorization in one document. The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) has been advised by USCIS that the processing change is intentional as the agency is working through the EAD backlog and is prioritizing EAD adjudication as it seeks to avoid applicants experiencing a lapse or prolonged lapse in employment authorization. AP requests will be adjudicated separately.

I applied for EAD Renewal in feb 2020 still waiting, seeing you guys getting approved gives me some hope!

I applied for renewal with Texas Service Center on Aug 17 2021 and received the card on Feb 15 2022

my GC Was applied in 2018, this was my 3rd renewal idk why is it taking that long?
