same situation still waiting PD Aug 4 FO Charlotte

I’m in the same situation. My PD 07/29/21 Biometrics 10/23/21 Requested expedite of EAD three times - still awaiting decision on latest on, which I requested 02/01/22. Spoke to Agent today who told me EADs are processed in the order they are received.

@Jo D I’m m sure the Agent is misinformed. Applications are randomly selected and processed, because I’m seeing applications submitted in Nov2021 receiving GG + work permits.( they have totally overlooked July filers) my PD July 30,2021. biometrics Jan 19,2022 and still waiting

Jo D, the agent is definetely lying. Since they started using the last 6months processing time data history. Until december they definetely processed applications in order(around june 24) but since January they focused on September October November December to improve the average processing time. Next month the processing time for the i765 should slightly improve.

None of it seems to make sense to me. On the website it says health care workers should expedite but although I’ve been trying, I get nowhere. I have a senior post (front line pandemic) being kept open for me since last July! I feel terrible that USCIS delay is preventing me from giving patients care. 😢

it’s insanely frustrating. If we average the time agents spent handling calls, emails and mails related to i765 delays they would be no i765 backlog. Given that they need less than 12mjnutes to review and approve an i765 application.

I even saw people getting approved who applied in January and February 2022. It is soooooo unfair.

Jose Pena Idk why you’re complaining, because there are a lot of june and July here that didn’t get not even work permit 😅😅😅 I wish I had my work permit in such short time like you 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽. I submitted everything May 2021, priority date is JUNE 30 2021 and biometrics SEPTEMBER 08 and not EAD no INTERVIEW. just waiting waiting waiting.

that’s good ! I can’t expedite though, my spouse makes six figures income, but that doesn’t mean I wanna stay home doing nothing I wanna work. but congrats for you buddy.

thank you, guys, for update. It looks like there is no logic in the way they process applications. At least I don't see it... Hopefully this month we all will get our work permits. It's frustrating because when I applied normal processing times were within 3-5 months... it's 8-12 months now. I have my interview today and I don't know what to say to employer. I said the truth in the beginning of hiring process but they for the update every week. I have no idea what to say)

the minimum processing time for i765 on uscis website dropped drastically this month. some service centers now have minimum processing time for i765 of 1.5 months

Jose…the same situation that you not fit in. we talking about June/July fillers who did not get EAD or AP. and see people who filled months after us getting work permit, wich looks like uscis are not following priority dates. you submitted in November (5 months after June fillers) and already got some benefit, so you good bro just patiently wait for your AP 🙌🏽

Adrien nyc try expediting through Emma and provide them with the reasons for your ER and have evidence ready supporting your reasons in case they ask you to submit them.

I observe that most of June, July and august i765 and i485 approvals had an RFE at some point . Complete AOS applications are still waiting….

june july filers, did you receive rfe for your i-485? I received for birth certificate and I-864, both submitted with the application though. pd june 22

as @I F stated, seems like rfe put us aside. I also tried expediting my i-765 twice but never received a response. third time I tried expediting 2 weeks ago, they said my case is adjudication phase so can not be expedited.
