April 6 2023, im currently 4 weeks right now, and maybe about to go down to 3 weeks tomorrow . hope im in the same line with you . finger cross🤞 just one question, what method did you use for expedite request ? did you called . or did you contact emma ?

@Lejla Duratovic I’m the USC petitioner and my husband is in the Dominican. Both of my expedite request were through Emma live agent. The first request was denied within hours of the request and the second request USCIS never responded. Hopefully you will be approved soon 🤞🏽

@Miguel L maybe it’s some kind of glitch. Inquiries are answered pretty fast but in the meantime I would gather all my documents and place them in one envelope and send them via USPS priority mail so you can track the package. I would do this while waiting for the inquiry to be answered that way your case will still be moving instead of sitting still.

@K R S congratulations!!! one step closer! My case is same as yours; I am a USC, husband is in DR. My NVC docs were accepted on 10/17 and I received a request for 2 more. Submitted those on 10/27 and now currently waiting to be DQd… hopefully the embassy in DR starts moving appointments faster! Good luck! same for everyone on the same process.

@Lejla Duratovic hi lejla, my name is lejla too haha, I think we are from the same country. anyway, I am a US citizen and my husband is a European citizen. we waited exactly 1 year and 1 week for his USCIS i130 case to get approved.. we just submitted all civil documents for NVC marriage visa application last week. hopefully the approval comes quick. I know it is hard, at least none of us are going through it alone. good luck!

@everyone, hello! just checking in :D I saw posts of people that received interview appointments on Feb 28th 2024. their DQ dates were August 23 and 25th. Anybody knows if Semptember people have received anything? I was DQd Nov 20th, I feel like is going to take forever 🤔
