Doing taxes, question?
My wife and I got married abroad this past fall 2023. She is waiting to come to USA. When filing taxes, I file as married. Since she is not in USA, do I include her in my taxes or not? She has a SSN from time in USA before from her exchange stay. I was just wondering if it's needed for NVC later or not. If anyone might know, I appreciate it? Thanks!

I’ve got a message from my husband’s accountant and he’s filling for my ITIN NUMBER, if you filled your taxes single and they investigate you can have trouble cause is fraud, and apply for the ITIN is easy and not too long, apply for it and your not going to have problems to filling married.

Thanks for sharing. I did it on the App "Inmigra USA" the community of Immigrants in the United States. inmigrausa.com There are immigration lawyers and free collaborators. Stay up to date on news of interest to the Latino community. Search Inmigrate USA. I chose the Florida community, it looks like they are starting now, so I recommend you choose Florida. Busca inmigra USA el app del inmigrante, de verdad es muy buena tambien. Thanks!!!
