It usually does (not in the same mail envelope though) but if your ead card arrives and your ssn doesn’t you should go to your nearest social security administration office and request them one make sure you bring you ead card with you :)

I’m experiencing that right now, didn’t received my SSN, will be going to SSA office on Monday to request one. sometimes they don’t come together, lately hasn’t been the case. you can also apply online, since i would like one ASAP I’ll be doing it in person and ask for a temporary card.

yes, I have indicated on I-765 FORM but just got EAD card. Do I have to wait 7 business days to arrive SSN card in the mail?
