Does Expedite Slow Down processing time?
Hello,
Submitted an expedite request in October, did not hear back and after chatting with Emma earlier this month they submitted an inquiry stating I would hear a decision in 10 days but has now been 20 days and after chatting with Emma today it sounds like they stop processing until you get a decision from USCIS officer regarding your expedite.

I hope not. I have also been waiting for a reply from my expedite request since October. Congress reached out and still got nothing. it’s so frustrating. I wonder if it’s quicker to just try and cancel.

@Nicole R yes it is at Potomac. Originally it was at Texas. I will try calling tomorrow and see what they suggest.

@Nicole R when you call uscis to skip all automated system say “infopass”
and they will connect you to a uscis officer or agent

@Nicole R I contacted them and they said to resubmit my expedite request. I just don’t know if it’s worth it or not. it’s been so emotionally draining.

@Logen Arms that’s not helpful at all. They resubmitted mine earlier this month and I chat with Emma everyday regarding status and nothing. Did you by chance do a K-3? been thinking about doing that
